Harrogate Home Builder and Renovation Show – November 2016.

The Norths greatest annual event for self-builders, renovators and home improvers this year saw our very own building surveyor, Alan Wilson, host an advice centre titled ‘ask the building expert’.
In conjunction with the Federation of Master Builders, the opportunity provided delegates and event attendees with the chance to ask a professional a number of building related questions. From questions on applying for planning permission & building regulations, finding an architect and submitting drawings to estimated costs and possibilities, Alan was put in the hot seat for 15 minute intervals throughout the day and can be seen sharing his years of wisdom below.
At the same time, Managing Director, Tony Passmore, presented a master class within the theater hall on ‘how to choose the right builder for your building project’. Based on his many years’ worth of experience within the trade, Tony explained how best to choose the right builder, what to look out for & pitfalls, tools required and a variation of top tips.
Closing the presentation delegates were provided with an opportunity to question Tony on aspects within his presentation or elaborate on focus areas which was very well received. An action shot of Tony can be seen below.
