Passmore Group Electrician raises £2,000 for Barnsley Hospice

Lee Gallagher, a long serving electrician at the Passmore Group, has raised £2,000 for Barnsley Hospice. Lee cycled the coast to coast cycle route along Hadrian’s Wall over the weekend (6th - 8th of September 2013) battling through torrential downpours and cold temperatures to the finish line. Lee is not a regular cyclist and completed the 174 mile cycle in just 3 days!

Steve Passmore recently took part in the Jane Tomlinson 10K run in aid of the Leeds Children’s Charity where he raised an incredible £1,465. The money raised will contribute to allowing the disadvantaged and socially excluded children of Leeds the release and respite of a holiday. The run took place in and around the Leeds area and was completed in just under 58 minutes.

Passmore Group Managing Director Tony Passmore, who is not a cyclist, recently completed a 500km cycle challenge by cycling in the heat and humidity of Vietnam and Cambodia, raising over £3,000 for the Leeds Children’s Charity. The charity sends local under privileged children on holiday to a holiday camp near Morecambe, Lancs.

Passmore Group were asked recently to supply manpower, equipment and materials for a West Yorkshire family, to help adapt their home. The works to adapt the bathroom, which formed part of a large scale home adaptation that was carried out in record time, will be shown as part of the hit BBC series 'DIY SOS - The Big Build', some time later this year.
